🔰 Software security isn’t just a set of protective tools — it’s about deeply embedding security into architecture, development processes, and vulnerability detection.
At this meetup, the speakers explored why vulnerabilities that seem obvious remain among the most common, and what mistakes even experienced developers continue to make.
Ihor Tsvietkov introduced OWASP Bingo — a game no one wants to play, as it highlights the most typical security failures. Using real-life examples, he explained how Broken Access Control allows you to ‘’open the door to a house full of gold’’, and Insecure Design is like cardboard walls that can be pierced with your finger.
Beyond theory, the meetup covered practical security tools that help detect and fix vulnerabilities early in the development process.
