During this meetup, we discussed:
🎯 The key takeaway: tech strategy always depends on context — the stage of the business, the resources at hand, and the role of the CTO. In one company, a CTO might still write code; in another, they act as a bridge between developers and business stakeholders.
It all starts with the question: What does the company need right now — stability, scale, or speed?

CTO @ SHALB
Volodymyr is CTO at SHALB – the company delivers full infrastructure support, security consulting, and DevOps services for projects worldwide. Now he manages SRE and DevOps teams and provides architectural planning and private cloud design consulting.

CTO @ Unstoppable Domains
Bogdan involved in IT and startups for his entire 15 years career. He has a deep understanding of all engineering aspects of the software development process, leadership, management, and QA. In his free time, active open source developer and Kyiv Ruby community member.

R&D Director @ Ajax Systems
Oleksandr, hands-on technical, 16 years in IT and 13 years in different leadership positions. His specialization: forging teams and delivery processes, building infrastructure, and designing common architectural solutions for people in cloud, mobile, desktop, and infrastructure departments at Ajax Systems.

Director of Engineering @ Turnitin
The moderator is Yana Mykhailenko, CTO of Turnitin, an international company that ensures the integrity of education and is a leader in anti-plagiarism solutions. She is a judge and mentor at international competitions and hackathons.
On the first Thursday of November, we will discuss how technical leaders are transforming QA practices — from a routine function to a strategic engineering catalyst in the era of artificial intelligence.
